Personal Success And Corporate Success: Same Rules
A couple of weeks ago, I shared the 3 Core Elements of Personal Success and Fulfillment that I’ve identified through thousands of hours of research and 1:1 consultations.
The more I delve deeper into the cellular and molecular mechanisms of the Cell – the basic unit of life, the clearer it appears to me that the living cell is the epitome of optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
Indeed, after many breakthroughs in biology and the emergence of disruptive technologies, we are yet to fully manufacture a living cell from scratch…
It’s humbling to know that the first living cell emerged on our beautiful planet about 3.8 billion years ago and is still thriving to this day.
Through my studies and work in medical research, I came to realise that we can also find the 3 Core Elements of Personal Success in the cell.
Furthermore, it seems that these 3 Core Elements are universal, spreading from the most basic living entities such as bacteria to complex biological organisms such as humans, and by extension to macro-organisms such as social and corporate entities.
So, today I want to expand this framework to Corporate Success because corporations appear as living organisms with additional levels of complexity and reach.
Therefore, the same Core Elements do apply to Corporate Success.
Briefly, the 3 Core elements for Corporate Success could be defined as:
- Core Identity – the corporate values, mission, and objectives of the company, what the brand stands for and what it doesn’t. In other words, The Corporate Identity.
- Emotional Intelligence & Resilience – the corporate culture and how it fosters creative collaboration, empathy, teamwork, and supports diversity and inclusion to adapt to a constantly changing environment. In other words, how a corporation handles diversity, inclusion, and change management.
- Authentic Strategies – the development of personalised strategies aligned with the corporation’s Core Identity, its culture, and the resources available while taking into account timing and the market. In other words, it’s the in-house innovation and proprietary systems and processes that maximise human capital to drive success and profit.
In Nutshell: Looking at the common success principles of living entities, I came to the conclusion that these 3 Core Elements are the proven and time-tested ingredients for personal transformation and professional success, but also for corporate success because they allow corporations to find their natural flow and thrive.
